sometimes I find myself
dreaming of my past selves
and how I can become them
more beautiful, more youthful

I’m learning to celebrate me
by not wishing to be
who I was yesterday
what a disservice that is
to consider today nothing short of
progress

  1. You remain the person you were in the past
though age and experience have left their marks
that you see them now as signs of growth
and view them not as blemishes and scars
    proves the beauty of maturity
    and the timelessness of wisdom

You can’t go back, unless you possess a devise or superhuman ability to bend the quantum rules of the universe. If you do, we gotta talk!
Enjoy the ride, you have a long way to go.
